From Bristol head south on the M5

We recommend you leave
the M5 at junction 27 (Tiverton) and take the A361 towards Barnstable.

The
A361 is a long road of ups and downs for 40ish miles.
Beware of the speed cameras, they are set at 60 mph.

Go
straight over at the first roundabout staying on the A361.
You'll see a sign for Bideford is 37 miles.

Go
straight over at the second roundabout staying on the A361.
Sign for Bideford will be 22 miles.

Go
straight over at the third roundabout staying on the A361.
Sign for Bideford will be 18 miles to go!

At
the next roundabout take the first (unsigned!) exit onto the
A39. Sign will be 10 miles to go.

Go
straight over at the next roundabout, staying on A39... 9 miles
to go (almost there!)

Pass over the River Taw.

Go
straight over at the next roundabout... yes its still the A39!
(we could only go straight over as they haven't built the other
exit yet!)

Go
straight over at the next round about on A39... you should see a
Peugeot garage on your right.

This is the last stretch... 7 miles to go!

You'll pass over the Torridge Bridge... make sure you keep your
eyes on the road as there is a beautiful view of the bay and all
the fishing boats. You'll see the hotel on the hill on
your right.

At
the roundabout take that last exit sign posted for Northam and
Westward Ho!

As
you drive up the hill you will see the signs for the hotel on
your right. The entrance is shortly after.

Plenty of parking on site at the hotel and extra spaces are
round the back.
